Volunteer Description:
Free dental clinic serving children, local schools, and low-income individuals providing cleanings, fillings, extractions, and denture fittings.
Requirements
- Individuals 18+
- Open to Dentists, Hygienists, Dental Assistants, Students
- Knowledge of dental terminology
- Volunteers must have dental knowledge, and a long-term commitment is appreciated
- Must be bilingual in English or Spanish if you are not a licensed professional
Duties at the Dental Clinic
- Delivery of curriculum
- Greeting patients
- Administrative and computer work
- Practice Infection Control, OSHA, HIPPA laws
- Work with other volunteer professionals following SVdP clinic policy and procedures
